We were joined by a large number of parents for the day's investigation. The children visited the crime scene, examined fingerprints, read witness statements and listened to audio of conversations to work out who the culprit could be. During the day the children used a range of skills and earned tokens. The winning teams presented their findings in assembly. As the last team finished, breaking news came from Enabling Enterprise headquaters to say the culprit had confessed... Red Riding Hood was the guilty person! She admitted stealing the chocolate for her grandma who was ill and she had no money to buy any chocolate.

{gallery:CSI Day}
, 24 Feb 2017 14:47:20 GMTEnterprise Visit
{gallery-slideshow:NG Bailey Visit}
, 10 Feb 2017 12:15:50 GMTMayor's Visit to Moorthorpe
Today the Mayor of Wakefield, Councillor Harry Ellis, and the Mayoress, Mrs Janet Ellis visited our school! We found out all about what is like to be a Mayor and even had a Mini-Mayor to show them around! We had a special assembly, then the Mayor visited every class and had a chat with all the children about the work that he does.

{gallery-slideshow:Mayors Visit}
, 30 Nov 2016 15:33:55 GMTYear 6 SAT results 2015-2016
This is a document to show how our school has done in the end of Key Stage 2 SATs for last year. We are very proud of the amazing achievement and effort the year 6 children have shown throughout this time. We would also like to recognise the hard work of all the teachers, in particular Mr Leafe who prepared the children for these test.

Please take a look by clicking here

, 12 Oct 2016 12:19:29 GMTY6 Prom 2016
{gallery-slideshow:Y6 Prom 2016}

Y6 Prom Wednesday 13th July 2016.
