22 February 2017
On Wednesday 22nd February it was discovered that chocolate had been stolen from the school by a group known as 'the Sugar Snatches'. Each class from Y1 to Y6 visited the crime scene and spoke to the 'forensic officer' who helped them to work through the clues that had been left. The children then worked together in teams to look at a number of suspect interviews and character descriptions to try and solve the crime. Parents joined the children to try and solve the mystery. At the end of the day, whilst the children were presenting their evidence, a dramatic confession came through...Red Riding Hood was the guilty person.
This day was part of the Enabling Enterprise project that the school has been part of to develop a range of skills. Two days letter children were still talking about the events of Wednesday - it was a fantastic day!
