In the spring term we were set a challenge to write a letter to someone who was important or special to us. We thought long and hard and eventually cam up with some great ideas. Some people wrote to people in their families, our headteacher, some wrote to famous people, others wrote to sports teams and people and some wrote to people far, far away.
We wrote our letters, posted them and eagerly waited for a reply!
After a few weeks we started to get some mail!
We got replies from our family members, Sheffield Wednesday, Lewis Hamilton, The Queen, Clearwater Aquarium in Orlando, Florida, we even got a reply from Mickey Mouse himself!
We even tweeted our replies to Sheffield Wednesday, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and the Clearwater aquarium to say thank you for taking the time to write back. They even liked our tweets and replied back on twitter!
